Requirements: UK experience is essential.
Bachelor/Master degree in engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Structural or Construction) or Commercial.
Proven Sales Management experience within construction supply industry; experience with different business mix (including rental) highly desired.
Strong financial understanding & business acumen (Margin Drivers, Discount Policy, Pricing Strategies, …).
Outstanding experience with UK construction industry specifically in building construction, job site experience and project management.
Proven leadership skills: steering with KPI’s, enabling & empowering functional reports, inspiring & motivating others, management by objectives.
Excellent understanding of customers’ needs and high customer orientation.
Proactive and effective interpersonal relationship & communication incl. feedback skills.
Decisive, assertive and result-driven person.
Ability to solve problems using technical proficiency, strategic thinking and strong analytical skills.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
Holistic Leadership Skills; has self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and empathy, enabling you to inspire and motivate others effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
The Sales Director will be driving the development and implementation of Sales strategies in order to exploit the market potentials and focus on the further growth plans of Doka UK. The Sales Director will be accountable for expanding Doka UK’s presence in the market and will be responsible for managing Sales targets, profitability management and strategy implementation, in addition to leadership responsibility for the entire Doka UK Sales team. The Sales Director is part of the country Management team and reports to the Managing Director with functional link to the Head of Sales Area Europe.
Responsibilities include:
To drive sales & margin goals to ensure the solid & sustainable growth of Doka UK (formwork, solutions and services in all areas of construction as well as introduction of scaffolding solutions).
To analyse market trends and develop and implement our Sales strategy accordingly.
To lead and manage the Sales team and mentor them to reach their individual sales targets while ensuring their development.
To collaborate efficiently within the Doka UK’s Management team.
To optimize offer & order processes (claim management, service charges, etc.) via appropriate monitoring and active training.
To ensure efficient & compliant project and contract management.
To visualize the added value of Doka Sales tools (Victori, Doka Calc, etc) according to Doka standards.
To strengthen and expand strong and profitable customer relationships.
To ensure Sales activities in accordance with Doka policies and procedures.
